The original ' Halliburton ' aluminium travel cases were hand made for Erle P. Halliburton's personal use in 1938. A well travelled oil field engineer by trade, he was often disappointed with luggage that failed to protect his belongings when exposed to the harsh conditions of extreme dirt, heat and dust.Drawing upon the engineering knowledge of his staff, Halliburton guided the developement of the world's first aluminium cases. These unique case were so successful in keeping moisture, dirt and dust out, that friends and business associates soon persuaded Halliburton to make additional ones. As a result a small factory was opened in Southern California.
As travel has changed, so has Zero Halliburton. A new series of lightweight attaches and travel cases were added with advanced wheel system to meet the needs of today's travellers. Over the years enhancements and redesign were in the forfront and Zero Halliburton now boosts three distinct collection, the classic premier series, the lightweight and slimline series and the Geo Attache collections.
2013 also marked the opening of Zero Halliburton's first flagship store in America.Located on Madison Avenue and 42nd street, the 1,600 square foot location contains the full range of Zero Halliburton products including luggage, business cases, accessories and day bags. Just steps away from Grand Central Station, this prime location will serve as a stage for the Zero Halliburton brand's global re-launch.
